User Terms

Squawkr, by RW 03 AB · Version 1.0 · Effective date: 2026-09-13
These terms are the agreement between you and us about your use of Squawkr. A second document, the Service Terms, describes what the service is and — more importantly — what it is not. Read that one too. It is the one with the safety limits in it, and it applies whether or not you have an account. How we handle your data is in the Privacy Policy.
1. About us
Squawkr is operated by RW 03 AB (org. nr 559537-8331), Björngränd 4, 621 57 Visby, Sweden.
"We" and "us" mean RW 03 AB. "You" means you, whether you use the app anonymously or with a free
account.
2. Acceptance
You accept these terms by using Squawkr, and again when you create an account. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
You must be at least 16 to use Squawkr or create an account.
3. Requirements
A device with a browser and an internet connection at least some of the time. Squawkr is a web app: it installs to your home screen and keeps working on data it has already fetched when you lose signal. You are responsible for your own device, your own connection, and any cost either incurs.
4. Access and accounts
You can use Squawkr anonymously for a limited number of views. After that, you need a free account to continue. We do this because it gives us a way to reach you, an honest count of how many people use the service, and — as the service evolves — a basis for personalisation features we may build later. It does none of that today beyond continued access, and if that changes we will say so in the Privacy Policy first.
Account rules:
- One account per person, tied to an email address you control.
- Keep access to that email address. Sign-in is by a link we email you, so losing the mailbox means losing the account, and we have no way to prove it was yours.
- Do not share your account or your sign-in links. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
- Tell us at hello@squawkr.net if you think someone else is using it.
- If you were on the early-access list and register with the same address, the two become one account.
An account is free. Current activation status, the week's schedule, NOTAM text, weather, runway information and airfield status are free in every territory we cover, for everybody.
5. Acceptable use
Use Squawkr for your own flight planning and for the ordinary curiosity that goes with it. Do not:
- Scrape it, or hammer it. No bulk or automated access to the app or the API, no circumventing rate limits, no running it as a backend for something else. If you want data access, ask us — the answer might be yes.
- Redistribute the data. Some of the aviation data we display is licensed to us on terms that forbid redistribution or resale, so passing it on is not ours to permit. Showing a friend your screen is fine; republishing our feed is not.
- Present it as an official source. Do not repackage Squawkr's output as a briefing, a clearance, or an authority's position. See the Service Terms.
- Break it, or break in. No attacking the service, probing it, interfering with other users, or getting at anything you are not meant to see. Genuine security research is welcome — email hello@squawkr.net first and we will not treat you as an attacker.
- Use it unlawfully, including to plan flying that is not permitted where you are.
- Impersonate anyone, including us.
6. User submissions
If you send feedback, a bug report or a data-accuracy report, you are giving us permission to use it to fix and improve Squawkr, including quoting it internally and acting on it, without owing you anything for it. We will not publish your name or your contact details without asking.
We welcome reports of inaccuracy, and they are prioritised over other feedback. Please send them.
7. Service changes
Squawkr is under active development. We intend to improve coverage and add value based on what users need, and features may appear, change or occasionally disappear as we do. We do not promise any particular uptime and may take the service down for maintenance.
We depend on aviation organisations and other data publishers for what Squawkr shows. Their conditions can change, and a source may be withdrawn — which can remove coverage along with it. We will do our best to mitigate that, but cannot guarantee it.
8. Termination
- You can stop using Squawkr at any time, and can delete your account from settings or by emailing us.
- We can suspend or close an account that is breaking §5, being used to attack the service, or being used unlawfully. Except where a delay would cause harm, we will tell you why and give you a chance to put it right first.
- What happens to your data afterwards is in the Privacy Policy §7.
9. Liability
The limits on our liability are in the Service Terms, §8, and they apply to these terms as well. In short: Squawkr is not an official flight-briefing source, we do not warrant that activation data is accurate or current, and the decision to fly is yours. Nothing in either document limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited under Swedish law — including your rights as a consumer.
10. Amendments
We will update these terms as Squawkr changes. Material changes — anything affecting what you get or what you may do — are announced by email and in the app at least 30 days before they take effect. If you do not accept a change, stop using Squawkr before it takes effect.
11. Governing law and disputes
Swedish law applies. If you are a consumer, you keep the protections of the mandatory law of the country you live in, and nothing here takes those away.
If we cannot sort something out directly, a consumer in Sweden can take it to the National Board for Consumer Disputes — Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (ARN), arn.se, Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm — and we will take part. Otherwise, disputes go to the Swedish courts, with Gotlands tingsrätt as the court of first instance.
12. General provisions
- If a court finds any part of these terms invalid or unenforceable, that part is removed and the remaining terms continue in effect.
- You may not transfer your account or these terms to anyone else. We may transfer them to a company that takes over Squawkr, and will tell you if that happens.
- These terms, the Service Terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us.
